When using NetShield, you may run into a problem. Below are a few commonly encountered issues, and procedures to help you debug and fix them. We’re sorry that you’re facing these problems, and hope that the information contained in this section will help you find a solution. 📄️ Connection Issues
Ensure your server is running & accepting remote connections
📄️ TCP Segment Limits
NetShield does not read your data by design. This gives you complete freedom to use the data in the way that you'd like, without having to stick it into an annoying NetShield-specific protocol/be forced to add length attributes.
📄️ Are long strings/messages not arriving properly?
A very small subset of NetShield users has reported issues with the built-in On Receive Message event. If you are facing similar issues, then please use the On Receive Bytes node combined with the Bytes To String node to mitigate this issue (pictured below).
